Machinist Recommendation Needed

I have a set of mis-matched Weiand "S" heads that I need the chambers machined so they have same volume and compression ratio. Can anyone recommend a shop with a good reputation I could send them to? I'm located in Jersey but willing to ship them out.

In order to make that somewhat cost-effective you would need to locate someone with a "specific" CNC program dedicated to those particular heads. This would keep the labor (time) relatively low!

The only other way is going to be time-consuming, not difficult at all, but time-consuming! A Bridgeport might be a great advantage.

P.S. If you are somewhat "mechanically-inclined" and could CC the chambers on your own you would be able to handle the job! In the end (time-wise), it's going to depend on the total amounts of material removal!

What do you mean by volume and compression ratio? As the volume increases, the compression ratio goes down.

Looks like hes just saying the heads arent even?

One head looks to have been worked in area between valve and piston chambers. Got it in an estate sale of a former NJ stock car driver. Not sure why it was done or if Weiand produced different versions of the "S" heads it sold. There is no valve relief work done on either head. I could probably do the work but not sure how much material I can safely remove.
