After many months of reading every day here on the Barn and patiently working through it, we finally got'r done. I want to thank everybody so much for all the help over the months and a special thanks to Walt for pulling us out of the ditch several times.
![]() We have many old trucks here and one had the rear of the frame messed up, so we use the front of it to make our test stand. Think it'll hold up? ![]() To the best of our knowledge, the block is a 47 Merc/59ab with 8ba rotating system in it with a 4" crank. It sounds great! Time to put it in the 52 F-1 and give it a go. Again, thanks to all that helped us get here, Darol

Don't normally see many folks put late heads and intake on an early block. DD
