this [u shaped prong pivoting on hub] is on supposedly 24 modelT touring
with ruxtell axle thank you

hello- mark frieberg of model T Haven told me that these are auxillary shock absorbers--by the way , if you ever need to buy parts, give Mark a try-he knows a ton of info and is very kind to share bit
