The front engine mount is connected to the frame with one large bolt on each side of front frame. I removed the castle nuts, no cotter pin present assumed
disintegrated. Question... Is the frame threaded? I assume not...... Need to remove both bolts to remove engine mounting bracket to gain access to Timing gears. Also the rubber shock are solidified///no good.... will replace. |

Do you mean front crossmember instead of frame? The large bolt that goes through the biscuits is not threaded into the crossmember. If the motor mount bolts go through the frame I think something has been modified or changed.
