Default Newport Hill Climb

Is anyone planning on going to the Newport Hill Climb on Oct 4 and Oct 5?
It is located in Newport, Indiana.
It is one of the better events of the year.
All The Best

I expect to arrive there sometime on Friday afternoon and will also be there on Saturday. If you're looking for a good restaurant, I can recommend "The Beef House" in Covington, IN a few miles North of Newport (intersection of IN 63 and I-74).

Hey Bubba. . . . Where's Eugene?

Beef house is great.
The "Moon Glow" near Danville has Steaks on the level of the Beef,
But a lot cheaper. And a lot more Atmosphere.[50 years in business]

Henry,

Eugene is between the Beef House and Newport you turn left at the flashing light leaving Newport ( shell gas station) and drive thru Cayauga untill you see the little sign on the right that says "Eugene" turn right and drive past junky joes junk place and ends at the Covered Bridge resturant. They are know for serving 30 or more different pies each day . Good food !!!!

I cant get down there till Saturday morning.
Moon Glow serves the steaks after 430pm
How about meeting at the purple 37 or 38 Chevy Custom on the main street, They serve great Bloody Marys.

The chevy with the bloody Marys is Jim Putz owner of Putz Radiator in Rensellear Indiana " Great place to Take a leak!!!"
Putz was a record holder at Newport with chevy sixs for quite a few years , got to cheatin so much they made him a tech guy !!!
I tuned a few of his sixes a few times pretty amazing what cubic inches will do ........
Tell him Bubba sent you for a bloody Mary....

This Moon Glow has me thinking.

How about a 6:30 friday night at the Moon Glow for a steak ( you cook your own here ) for a Ford Barn evening ????

Heres some ratings on the place http://www.yelp.com/biz/moon-glo-danville
