Unhappy Spare Wheel Tire Guard - Help Needed

A friend of mine was helping with my Model A restoration. In my absence he installed my spare wheel tire guard. But he fastened it at the wrong location. To do this he had to grind off the upper & lower stabilizer flanges of the mounting brackets. So, now I need to find a pair of original Henry Ford brackets for my original Henry Ford Tire Guard. Help – anyone? Thanks, RLH

What year? There are 3 different sidemount spare tire plate versions. I have one for 28-29's that fit either side. I sold both versions of the 30-31's I had. Rod

Guess I needed to be a bit more clear. I'm talking about the Ford-approved accessory Spare Wheel Tire Guard for the rear spare tire. This is not for a sidemount spare tire. Thanks for a solution, RLH

I'm trying to figure out what a spare tire guard is?

I can only think of the spare tire lock.

CarlG & Michael M get the picture of the guard & its brk'ts. BUT, if you look at my original post you'll see "I need to find a pair of original Henry Ford brackets for my original Henry Ford Tire Guard." My guard bar is original and not SS. It's plated like the bumpers. My orig. brk'ts were inadvertently modified to mount further forward at an incorrect position. So, to clarify - I'm in need of a pair of original Ford brackets. Repros are a last resort. Thanks figuring out what I meant by the spare wheel tire guard.
