Default Realy feeling old

At work I told one of the local gear heads (Probably mid to late 30's) who runs dirt track and builds cars for others.. "Ever have one of those days when a song just keeps playing in your head?" After a blank stare akin to a deer in the head lights, I get a "Well yeah?" I said, "Well today it is Thunder Road"... He replied "I don't think I know that one" ... Really??? Dirt track racing, near 40 years old, never heard thunder road??? Where did circle track racing start anyway??

I got on Amazon and orderd the B&W DVD

Hey 52,
Well, yeah I have one of those days...everyday ! My worry is that all my 'tunes' are from the 40s/50s..well maybe occasional ZZtop interference !

That 'kid' ought not be allowed around dangerous things (wrenches/cars) if he doesn't know what thunder road is

Maybe he should make a trip down to Dawsonville, Georgia for the Moonshine Festival and 'Thunder road', the NASCAR Museum... My song, written by Charlie Ryan in 1955, is Hot Rod Lincoln, the Commander Cody and the Lost Planet Airman version (recorded in '72).
