50% antifreeze / water is good for minus 34 F (IF using the "real" anti freeze ...NOT the weak stuff that they sell lately)!!

Don't make the mistake of using the weak antifreeze that they sell today AND mix it 50/50 ... that will freeze at about Zero F.

I know one guy who lost a brand new $4500 rebuilt engine. Cracked the new Snyder head and block.

I use 1 1/2 gallons pure antifreeze and 1 gallon of water. Be sure they get well mixed, and it will be good for the coldest Minnesota days.
