Default Tires and Rims

I have a new set of Excelsior Comp V tires 475/500 x 18, will these work on a 6 inch wide rim? tim in Omaha

Yes.
Look funky?
Yes.
As above, best on somethin around 4". For instance, Lotus Cortina used 5.60 X 13 on a 5.5" wheel. Handled fantastic, but looks odd with the side wall of a crossply (bias ply) pulled out from the tread to the wheel rim.
