Default what is this handle for?

Hi All,

I bought this years ago thinking it went to my car (30 Briggs TS). Well it looks a lot like the handles I have on there now except for the cam on the end. Any idea as to what it does go to? Is it possible that it is a super rare handle that only goes to a select few cars and is worth big $$$$$$?

The HANDLE is just like the ones on my '30 Blindback. As for "the cam" I don't think it goes with the handle. It is a poor shot of the cam but could it be for the door lock?

I think you are right about the cam should be part of the latch mechanism for the door lock.

I just looked at it again and I think you are right. The cam looks like it comes off and does not belong. It just looks like it is welded on by rust.
