Default what type paint was original in 1933

And if I am touching up chips and plan to compound out to maintain as much of original paint as I can what would be better
acrylic lacquer vs acrylic enamel paint
This is for black color only

Ford used enamel I do believe.

up till 32 ford used lacquer, in 1933 he started using synthetic resin enamel

Regardless of what the factory used the best choice for touchup first of all is color match. Secondly are you spraying to blend in small repairs or filling in small chips with a tiny paint brush. Lacquer for spray and enamel for chip filling.
