Default not starting

Hi guys, another problem. My 47 starts good when its cold but after a hour drive when I shut it off and try to restart it acts like I have a dead battery just a clicking noise.I thought it might be the coil but wouldn't the quit when it got too hot ? Just bought a brand new battery and it shows 6.8 volts on my meter.Ijust installed a distrutor from Baba's about a month ago Could the condenser on the distrutor act this way.Any help would be great. Thanks for now, Moe
