Ok, I am in the process of installing the windlace part of the headliner....
LaBonny Barron has a flap on the windlace close to the windshield/dash area; can someone give me further explanation what I should do with the flap. The dash has not been re-installed yet. 1940 Coupe. also is a pic of the shields on the windshield column, for reference. thank you, fordman |

This will help. It's the instructions from LB kit. the flap is not used to cover the two metal trim piece photos. The two metal trim pieces in your last photo are covered separately using contact cement and headliner material. Then they are installed separately. There is a left and a right side. In my photos, the 1st photo is driver side, 2nd is pass. side, 3rd is lower corner of driver side. You can see the piece that meets the corner of the dash as Ken mentions. Click on photo to enlarge. The windshield welting you see is NOT OEM stock color. I had it made as I wanted it to come closer to matching the dash. I think it should be tan color for a 100 point car.
