Default Went to adjust the clutch free play....

There was too much free play in the clutch pedal so I started to follow the adjustment procedures and guess what I found; no clutch shaft bushing in the drivers side of the bellhousing. There is a bushing on the passenger side. The bushing couldn't have come out on the outside due to the clutch arm being in the way and inspection inside the bellhousing shows no bushing on the inside, so apparently whoever did the work on the car forgot or chose not to install the bushing. Get this though, the work was done nearly 20 years ago and the car has been actively driven since then. It just goes to show the resilience of the Model A.
