Default '40 coupe - headliner another question-II

my apology because I can't post pictures (?) its been that way a week.

I understand how to remove the front bows; how do you remove the rear/back bows?

thanks

After removing the window moldings, side panels and package tray I very carefully removed the old headliner with a razor blade from where it glued to the window edges. You can then pull it inward enough to unscrew the headliner bows. You may have to cut a little more with your razor blade. Don't forget the one "spring bow" on each side behind the quarter windows. I painted my headliner bows with black enamel paint to prevent rust stains. Don't forget to install some new insulation on the inside of your roof. The original tar paper isn't enough if you live where it's hot.
