Anyone have a picture of the water deflector that goes between the two uprights on the floor. It looks like its 18 inches back from the edge of rumble seat floor. It looks like this should be screwed to the upright and welded to the floor.

I sure could use one as well. Ive been wondering what should have been put there to keep the water from pooling in the floor. My car was converted to a rumble from a trunk model and the lower seal / water trough had been removed. Lets get a couple made at the same time!

There are at least two different water dams, one early 35 and the other later and into 36. I believe they all screws onto the floor with about 13 sheet metal screws. One attaches to the rumble seat brackets and the other to the inner wheel wells just ahead of the rumble brackets. I believe Gary Quee was reproducing both styles.

I spoke with Mr Gary Queee yesterday and he has retired from the sheet metal biz. He still fools with old Fords though, and he thought he may have a 36 style deflector left in his stash. He will get back to me when and if he finds it, and I will report back then. In the meantime, if anyone decides to make a deflector let me know as I want one as well.
Thanks all, John M |

This one is 39" long, it may be the early 35? On both of these styles the tabs retain the bottom rumble seat cushion. The cushion is removed by raising it off the front pins and then sliding the cushion slightly fordward to clear the tabs.
