Default 31 Dlx roadster windshield moves top dwn

My windshield moves back against the steering wheel with top down..wing nuts won't hold it in place ..whats the problem ? cones not right ??? sc

Sounds like the nub on the bottom of the stantion is too small or damaged somehow. It is there to prevent this problem. Bob

mine kept slipping and I put rubber washers in(sort of like the closed car swing arms have) and so far ,so good. Cheap and quick.
