Default '28-29 gas tank clamps

My roadster has what I am sure are repo clamps with carriage bolts. Does anyone offer a correct version of the clamp? I was told it used a version of the special 3/8" hex head bolt used to secure the gas tank to the cowl along the firewall. Any one got a photo of an original?

I am posting a picture of some of my pickups clamps. Yes, the original bolts were longer than the normal 3/8" headed bolts used to fasten the fenders to the splash aprons. The gas tank bolts did have the same 3/8" head as fender bolts.
