Default V8 Waterpump - hose?

Aside from any opinions on the necessity of this change... I am putting a V8 waterpump on a Model-A. I am building a dirt track racing roadster and this just looks a little more racey, plus I got it as you see it... fresh and ready to go... pretty cheap!

So, with that aside. If anyone has done this conversion. What did you do for a hose connection?

I could cut and reshape the radiator neck to angle downward but I hate to do that if I don't have to.
I'm really not seeing much of any other option though aside from a goofy looking hose that bends all over and changes size, to fit.

thanks for any help!
Zach
