the windshield header is part of the cowl section. it takes the same rubber seal as a coupe and other Model A`s and then the upper hinge is screwed in with 1/4-20 X 5/8" stove bolts or slotted screws for better word the upper hinge is the same as a lot of Model A`s but the outer two screws are located in a different location so if are using one that does not fit you will have to drill the hinge. if you are looking for the seal that is fasten to the bottom of the top header, I purchased mine from Larry Machacek in Texas

I have a 68C / slant windshield and will be pleased to assist if I can understand your situation.
Is it about attaching the whole windshield to the Cabriolet's header?
What are YOUR distances, edge to hole, and hole to hole?

I had the same problem with my early 68B - bought a new windshield and the holes did not line-up with the threaded holes in the cowl. Called the manufacturer of the windshield and he simply said that Ford was not consistent with the threaded hole spacing and further said he had run into this before but it was rare. I took him at his word and ended up redrilling the holes in the hinge. Good luck

if you have a slant window upper hinge NONE of the holes will line up on a 68 A or B also the slant window hinges will have a deeper off set. you need to use one off a coupe tudor truck or sedan but not a slant window.
