Hi Guys;
Thanks for the info on changing that window. Everyone suggested a second set of hands, which I didn't have. So I cut a piece of 1/8" X1" strap 10" long and bent a 90* hook on one end, about 3/4" from the end. Then another 90 back about 2" from that. On the other end I drilled a 1/4" hole, and hung that from the center screw hole for the inspection cover. I could then lower the window and rest it on the hook. With both hands free and the window supported, I popped the regulator pins on and lifted it into place. It took longer to cut, bend and drill the hook than it did to install the window. I have tried to post some pics, but "Igor" the computer won't let me. |
