Default Turn signals on open car

Just added turn signals to my 31 Roadster . Used kit from Brattons . The Description in
catalogue reads not for open cars. Did some modifications with the brackets that came with the kit . Worked with Mike on the location to place the turn signal assembly we came up with this idea . Real happy with the way it turned out. Check out the pictures . Thanks Mike!

Nice job. I am running that kit on my sedan and was wondering how I was going to put it on my phaeton.

I'll be very interested in hearing how well that tiny rotary radio style switch holds up to long-term constant use, especially with the long shaft and off-axis loading from the lever added to the knob.

The bracket supplied fits under a closed car dash rail. The rail on open cars differs significantly. That's why the discussion about how to mount it.

...And I do hope they hold up well. Those rotary switches vary from cheap chinese to bulletproof military spec. I have not examined this one.

I installed directionals in my 28 sport coupe using an alum. Plate. Attached a led dimmer in the back & used 2 indicating lights with a dp,dt toggle switch (on-off-on). Also mounted my head light switch & a power outlet for accesories. Picture attached (i hope) BTW- USED THE EXISTING BOLTS THAT HOLD THE DASH RAIL ON SO IT CAN RETURNED TO ORIGINAL LATER.
