Default RemFlex Exhaust Gaskets

Just got these gaskets and installed them. They are designed to compress 50% and ONLY be torqued up to 15#...you can go as high as 25#. The gasket takes the shape of the surface and fills any gaps..They are $35.00 a pair. More information on their site and will report later on. Wondering if anyone else has tried these at all?????

I am always in favor of incorporating modern technology when it comes to Model A & B engines. I have not tried these exhaust gaskets yet. Please give us an update about how this new gasket works for you.

I have been using McCord steel gaskets because they do not burnout so readily at Cylinder 4. McCord gaskets are getting hard to come by, so I am all ears about the new gasket you are using.

Hi Mark,
Am wondering why you needed these? Were the copper gaskets not good enough? Are you able to use the gland rings? How did you find these guys? Haha, as you can tell I am intrigued and full of questions.

So far I am noticing a very nice seal and good compression on the gaskets. I found them at one of our A Meeting from some other members and was asked to try them. As far as gland rings I do not know the answer to that but so far they seem to be working good and have not problem with any exhaust leak and only torqued to 25#....more later!
