While trying to fit a key in my 31 coupe door lock, the lock cylinder self destructed. I don't see where any of the parts suppliers sell a door lock cylinder. My door handle is a real nice stainless handle - can this be repaired?

It can be repaired but unfortunately replacement locks are not always available. The only way to repair some Model A handles is to rob a lock from another Model A handle unless your handle is a late 1930-31 with a removable lock. If you can supply a picture of your handle, we might be able to shed more light on your options to repair it.
