Default oakland roadster show 1951

We have in our shop a 1929 ford roadster pickup with a flathead motor. its here to be reassembled been in a barn for a long time. were told it won the Oakland calif roadster show in 1951. looking for info and pictures ? will post pictures of the pickup later today.

Google search shows that a 1923 Ford won in 1951. Bob

"...It won......." can be a misnomer as there are a number of classes a car can be shown in. Most people automatically think "it won" means the Grand National trophy car, but an owner can honestly claim "it won" if he/she won one of the "lesser" classes........though I suspect the less scrupulous will not correct the misinterpretation.
