I recently replaced my windshield in my '30 Murray Fordor and I finally received the gasket for the bottom and sides of the windshield to the cab seal. I would like to know if I am supposed to work at making this a long, notched 1 piece gasket or is it ok to cut it into three pieces?
Thanks in advance for all your input. I have really enjoyed the 'barn over the last year. Curt

Cut into 3 pieces with the bottom outside corners cut at 45 degree angles.
Once the rubber is installed, attach the 45 degree angles with super glue. |

I used Dawn liquid detergent on mine and it slipped in quite easily. I have also read here that it is good to wait a day or so before gluing the corners, because you may have stretched the rubber and it will want to contract. After it settles down, then glue the corners and cut of the vertical ends.

Go through that expand-contract cycle a few times. Joe K
