Tim,
I was looking at the A412 picture of the steel cabinet and there is a puller in the upper left corner that could be the same tool. It is like a pitman arm puller. Maybe??

Jerry The tool in the A-412 cabinet that you are refering to is the A-372 camshaft gear puller which will not fit in the hooks we have on the museum cabinet. Thanks Tim

Ok, Tim, that tool should be in this cabinet, right? I do not see it anywhere else in the photo that Mike put up. If you threaded the shaft out could it hang on that hook?

If not that one there is another one in the A412 cabinet on the far left about half way down. Could be a steering wheel puller or a pitman arm puller?

Ken,
Hehillsy is who has the krwilsontools.com site. Tim, it is a great site..... wish there was more interest. I think it is probably because of the rarity of the tools and the fact that many don't know the useful value of many of them. Of course we all have to collect something.. so yes... my vice is KR Wilson tools!

Let me know guys when you figure this one out. I have the tools to fill a cabinet but kudos to Rowdy for being able to obtain one. My pegboard wall of KRW though is a pretty cool useful way of storing.

Mike V.
Thanks for the great picture. Can you email it to me? I tried to download it, but it did not work. My email is [email protected]. This will help a lot in setting up the cabinet.

Rowdy,
Thanks for the suggestion of looking through your album. I looked at photo 15 of 58 and it shows one of the two hooks that Tim is trying to find what would hang on it.

Tim,
In the A412 cabinet above the cam gear puller there is another tool that looks to be A 373 Steering wheel puller. It looks to be hung by two of the same style hooks.

Tim is trying to come up with a list of tools that would have been in the cabinet shown in Mike V. photo. It would also be nice to have video or ads to show how these are used that we could upload to an Ipad at the Museum and maybe even have a seminar on using these tools at one of the Model A Day celebrations at the Museum. Feel free to contact Tim or I on this.

If it wasn't for Vince I would have missed it, so I have to thank him. I have most of my KRW tools put in it now. My collection still has a long ways to go and hope in the next couple of years to start to fill in the missing pieces. Rod

I believe the tool is the A312 stud puller , one of the essential tools in the group that would have been in the cabinet I have the later stud puller but not the early one like that. Tim had called me this evening and spoke about trying to fill the cabinet

When I die they can probably have mine but at 53 I hope that's a while yet

Jerry, I'm doing a tool seminar at the April membership national that will include current tools from aftermarket suppliers, home remedies ( I need all you inputs ) and of course the Krw tools. I have most all except for AA tools and combination machine as I don't have the space or use for them

Let me know if anyone has that puller and it would fit

Jerry from Kalamazoo is correct on the I.D. of A 373 steering wheel puller.
