Winter projects have begun-removed spring perchs as some genious had cut the perch ball offs
![]() Looks like the old perches have a rubber bushing around the shackle stud? The new replacement perch has a steel bushing(no rubber). Am I missing something? Will I be able to reuse the shackle stud from the old perch? Any feedback is appreacited.

That shackle is the later rubber replacement. Either Ford or aftermarket.
You will need to get new perches and the proper shackles. The rubber ones are bad as they fail quickly and they insulate a major ground path for the car. |

If you are not going to run original shocks I'd clean those up and use them.

Thanks guys, yes I will use original shocks and I have new perches. So it sounds like I need to order a new shackle stud and can not use the existing stud from the old perch.
