Default Dads car from back in the Day

Just thought I would share a photo of Dad's Vicky. He has had the car for going on 40 years. This photo is pre restoration about 1980 or so. The car was torn down in 83' for a full restoration. It should be done and back on the road by the end of this year or really early next year.

Pre restoration? The paint/car looks great for being 50 years old...great looking Vicky.

Ya I agree, It looks like this picture was taken in 1931 ,not in 1981 , don't see why he would have taken this one down for restoration .

The car had rotten wood and previously poorly done bodywork. Why some one would do bodywork without replacing the rotten wood, who knows? The firewall had been hacked up for street rod, pedals and hacked back together with poorly done repairs. It also wore the 70's black Naugahyde upholstery. It was a presentable car but now its an amazing car. I'm getting very excited for Dad as the car has been down for 30 years. I'm also excited for myself as last time I rode in it I was like 8 or 9.
