Default Timing for B Head and Carb.

The 1929 Sport Coupe I recently acquired has a B head (on a model A block) and B carburetor. I recently timed it using Les Andrew's procedure. The car seems to run OK. However, I have no basis for comparison as this is the only Model A I've ever owned.

Is the timing setup different for a car with a higher compression head and a B carb.?

Thanks for any guidance you can give me here.
