Can anyone advise the procedure for removing the glass from the doors. ?? Does seem to work like a Town sedan.

I think that the Sports Coupe has the same doors as the hardtop coupe, but I am not completely sure.
If they are the same, this is how I took the glass out of my '30 Coupe. Stand on the running boards and look at the top of the door. You should see three screws. Remove these screws, and the door top plate should come off. Take off the door crank, interior door latch, etc. and carefully remove the interior door panel. Slip the window crank back on, and crank the window all the way up. Have a helper (or a clamp) hold the window up and then remove the screws that hold the door regulator to the door (I think there are three). Remove the crank and push the regulator into the door until the crank-shaft is clear of the door. Have a few colorful curse words available, while you try to get the crank-shaft clear of the door and slide the other end of the regulator out of the channel at the bottom of the window. Once they are both free, pull the regulator out through the bottom of the door and set it aside. The glass, with the bottom channel still attached, should now pull up and out of the door. Now is a good time to clean a lube everything, especially the regulator, but make note of the position of the crank and arm, because you want them back in this position when you reassemble everything. Putting it back together is essentially the reverse, but involves more cursing. The tricky part is getting the regulator back into the window channel, and through the whole in the door. Just remember, the window needs to be most of the way up to do so. Hope this is helpful, Ken
