Default Rear Brake Drums

Hello,
I am a fairly new owner (few years) to my 29 pickup. How do I know what type of rear brake drums do I have?
My concern is that I have to replace a wheel stud and the catalogs say "the bolts have longer shoulders for the cast iron drums".

Thank you.

Look at the outer edge where the drum sits by the backing plate, the original pressed steel drums have the metal curled over and there is a groove that is visible looking in through the wheel,it will look like the metal of the drum is curled over where the drum fits next to te backing plate-- the cast iron drums are solid there.

The studs don't just press in and out like most modern cars, they are swedged in, the swedged metal has to be cut out or the head of the stud drilled off to remove the stud without damaging the drum or hub, then the new stud is swedged in, it takes at least a 25 ton press to fully swedge it and a swedging tool.

If you have doubt post a picture

A homemade swedging tool can be made from an old wristpin from a sb chevy,or other wristpin that just fits over the threads, grind it to look like the tool it will do one-- to 3 studs
