Well, I'm not sure what you mean by new Carburator, new Distributor etc. Do you mean you went out and purchased a new Carburator and Distributor assembly? No offense, but if so you are wasting money. You need to take it one system at a time. Understand it, and know if it is up to par or not. For instance, got spark..? Yes, then next check timing, do you know how? No spark? Then check power to coil, then condenser etc. Fuel system, presuming you are obviously getting consistant fuel to the Carburator comes after all ignition is known. Break it down into smaller pieces and post back with what is working.

Yes, definitely diagnose first, then only replace the bad part.

To find out if it's spark related, just hold the coil wire 1/4" from a head nut and push the starter switch with the key on. You can push the switch with the right hand while holding the coil wire with your left hand.

To find out if a no start is fuel related, just pull the choke full on then crank for a couple revs. If no gas is running out the carb then you have a fuel problem.
