For Sale: 1934 original Henry Ford steel hood. This hood was originally on our Cabriolet. We decided to paint the car and change it to a 1933. We just had to change the hood and grille. The hood is in great shape. It will have to be painted as it is mauve in color, now you know why we painted the car. I would like to have $800 for the hood. I did not know you could magically turn a 1934 into a 1933 just by changing the hood and grille.
There are so many other parts that give the two years away from each other, i.e. doors, dash, cowl, engine, headlight buckets, cowl lights, VIN, and on and on and on, etc.

The car was mauve so clearly it is a hot rod. The change will make it appear to look like a '33; seems reasonable to me.

Cosmetically with the changing of the Grille & Hood you have "MAGICALLY" changed it to your liking of either year that you like the best of the two years

it used to be common practice to put a 34 frontend on a damaged 33 or 36 front on a 35.if it is your car, do what you want
