Have you tried industrial supply companys ---I don't know where you are in NJ, and I havn't tried to buy any lately --- perhaps Mc Master carr -- http://www.mcmaster.com/#2284k73/=o37ibe

My pail came from a lubrication supplier near Toms River ---it was 10 years ago and the person I got it from no longer has the company --or lives in this area ---I don't even know what it cost, it arrived with a note thanking me for work I had done to his car.

If you don't mind email me at [email protected] and I'll forward you some email that I've exchanged with a sales rep from a local lube vendor here in Houston pertaining to the 680 gear oil that you're inquiring about...I have a '31 roadster also.

Why not just use the 600W that is available from most all the parts suppliers?

Texaco sells 680. Look up a Texaco jobber or home heating oil distributor that sells Texaco in the yellow pages.
