Default Portland area Model A guys

Hey all,

I am curious how many of us are in the Portland area. Also curious who all might be up to talk Model A's and have a beer or two.

Ron,
Come down to So. Oregon, I'll buy and the Oregon tour is later in the month, out of Grants Pass.

There are a lot of Model A guys in the Portland Or area, some are even beer drinkers. Only a few even use the Forum. If you're not a member of one of the Portland / Vancouver clubs you might think about joining. I work on Model A's at the Model A Ford Works, but my talking is more in the Model T world.

I do get down that way on occasion. I have even taught a metal working class at Al Glazer's place. My Dad is a member of the Medford group.

I will let you all know when I am in the area again.

Probably not this year. The car won't be done in time I am sure unless I get a huge influx of cash.

I keep meaning to get to a meeting. Maybe I will remember to make it this month.

We will be in Bend and Sisters this next week for the quilt show. Are there any Model A activities going on at that time in the area?
We leave L.A. Monday morning and will be in the area by Wednesday.

You might contact some one at the Bend club;
http://www.highdesertas.org/
There is a lot to see between Sisters and Bend. Beautiful country to drive through. If you have time stop at lava lands. http://www.fs.usda.gov/wps/portal/fs...Visitor+Center
There is an visitor center and you can see the lave cast forest, where the lave flowed around the trees and left cast of them.
