Well, we are HOME. We left Sunday morning at 6 AM from Battle Creek, MI after attending the museum opening. We did 1250 miles in two days. We had a few set backs yesterday, but still managed to get it done. I'm very fortunate to be writing this, as we were driving through Moore, Oklahoma when the F-4 Tornado touched down, on the opposite side of town. Needless to say, our model a got tested to see exactly how fast it would go.... and I don't ever want to have to test it again.
Stats: 8 days 9 States 2 Countries 2900 Miles

My heart and prayers go out to our fellow citizens in Oklahoma and, indeed, throughout the Midwest going through this horrific weather. The devastation is mind-numbing and the loss of life a tragedy. What if I had one of my kids at that elementary school? Glad you made it through that nasty weather. By the way, I am impressed with your progress-I can't stand that many miles in two days in ANY car.
