Default Torque Tube Wall Thickness ??

Can someone give me the Wall Thickness of the 1935 through 1940
torque tubes? Thanks

I think about 3/16" if I recall, but I have a section cut out of one at home and I could measure it to be exact.

I don't have one right to hand to measure, but I'd say Ralph is a little too big at 3/16". It's more like 1/8", but if I had to guess I'd say 10-gauge, roughly the same as a chassis rail.

It's too late for me to measure one now, but if no-one has measured one by tomorrow I'll get a proper dimension for you.

The one I just measured is exactly 1/8" wall thickness, got one that's cut in half...

Karl....Do you know the specific year? I have a '41 and it measures 3/16" thick.

Actually I was wondering if it may vary by year, the ones I have seen have been 37-39 types.

The wall thickness changes as the diameter is increased or decreased. Smaller diameter areas are thicker wall
