I have just bought a Model A gas tank that is marked as 28-29. I had always thought that a tank with no firewall is a 30-31. I don't have a cowl to fit it so I hope you folks can help. Thanks very much for looking. Rusty

Definitely a 28/29. The flange at the side, the shape of the dash reveal and the screw on gas cap area dead giveaway

It is a 28/29 tank. looks just like mine. They are getting hard to find.
