Default Compression ratio ?

The pistons on my .030 overbore block are out of the hole aprox .017 ,the block has been decked .010.The B head has been milled .020 to the best of my knowledge.
Are there going to be problems with the mallory dist, going too far into the hole?
Aprox what comp ratio would this give?
Thanks in advance,
jim

I doubt that there will be any problem. The only possible problem with the Mallory, if its a modern one with an aluminum housing, It can stick to the head. Use plenty of anti seize compound where the distributer enters the head. I've had them stick but have always got them unstuck without damage.

Usually original engines have piston pertrusion about .032 above deck height. The small amount that the block and head have been decked will make very little or no noticable change in compression The B heads are thinner and I wouldn't recommend milling any more that necessary to level. If you have the police head with the letter B, the compression ratio will likely remain near 5.2 to 1
