Brake booster question
I am planning on converting to front disc brakes for my f1. I am looking for a recommendation for a master cylinder/booster system. Is it ok to add the booster weight and still use only the existing master cylinder holes? I am thinking that a booster system with an additional side mounting bracket makes more sense for weight support. Thought I saw one before but I cant locate.

Re: Brake booster question
Check with Chassis Engineering. I have one of their adapters on my 46 car chassis. It bolts to the original pedal assy. I also have a double diaphram pinto brake booster and a Corvette remote fill M/C. Got the M/C from No Limit Engineering. If I knew how to post PICs here I would post a couple. The brake booster came from a local parts store. The front brake rotors and calipers came from ECI.

Re: Brake booster question
Check out ECI for all your F1 needs.
They are generally available to answer your questions. http://www.ecihotrodbrakes.com/ford_master_cylinder_systems.html http://www.ecihotrodbrakes.com/early_ford_discbrake_conversions.html
