Re: '29 coupe/tudor hinges
Hi.
I need some help from someone with one of these models. My cowl has the cast, top-mounted door hinge bases. The bottom one is taller than the middle. Is the top shorter still, or are they the same as the center? I think i can probaly make a pair of uppers, if i can find out the correct height. Thanks. |

With the hinge pins removed and the door off the car, the hinge pin holes will be in perfect alignment. Do you have the door? If so, install the door on your two existing hinges and fabricate the remaining hinge to align with the top door hinge. Better yet, you can buy new hinges.

The car, as it sits now, is in a pile. I have a couple loose hinge bases, a middle and a lower, which i thought i could machine, if i knew what i was going for. It's not an emergency, but maybe someone will jump in with a measurement. |
