Default 41 driveshaft breakdown

Getting ready for a Mitchell OD. Will I have to grind off one end of the pins that hold the driveshaft down on a 41 rear end?

I drill the pin to remove peened end and then drive it out. I support shaft with a heavy hammer to protect bearings.
