Gear oil
I want to use 140 gear oil. The major company's do not have straight 140.
O'reilly, Pep Boys and Walmart do in their brand name. Anyone have opinion of how good the brand name ones are? |

Re: Gear oil
sortaffekop. Why did you go back to 90? I will be putting the 140 in the rear axle.

Re: Gear oil
Straight grade lubes are getting harder to source. Restoration Supply Co. carries the Lubriplate SPO series straight grade lubricants as well as Penrite oils. Lubriplate products can be purchased from many bearing supply companies as well.
Sta-Lube is still the easiest option since it is carried by NAPA and other parts supply companies. |
