Thanks, yeah, I'd seen the car show and planned to stop in, but last couple of years not a single flathead v8 there that I saw.

Hi Bill, I second don-wi.

I see it's about 1:40 from St. Augustine to Ocala, but the Don Garlits compound is pretty neat. He's got a gob-smack good collection of early V8 stuff. A cutaway engine, bare rolling chassis, neat stuff along with a lot of real correct cars.

Bill, If you feel like taking a drive over to the West Coast (of Florida), the Cigar City flatheads are usually doing something with Flatheads on most Saturday's, at my garage in Odessa.
