I sold mine off in many pieces. The most money came from sections of the subrails, but I did get quite a lot for the foot tall door bottoms I sawed off.Seat riser, rumble riser, floor sections,if somebody marked it,I sawed it off for them. The rear body corners seemed to be real popular too.Fenders, hood side panels, splash aprons, all the sheet metal went fast.Plus, now I have a good chassis around.

Any idea how your coupe got in that condition? Wreck? Barn collapsed?

While this has been manipulated to create saleable art this Coupe was lost in the recent CA fires. I heard it was offered for free to whoever would tow it away.

It was in my cellar when the house burned.I don't have a before picture of it.It was a nice car.Very little fire damage though. It was ruined when the backhoe fighting the fire reached in over the cellar door, grabbed a handful of floor, and pulled the car out through the cellar door.It was well insured,so I was made more than whole again. It'll live again when I find the right body.I would like to find a 30-31 cab to build a pickup out of it.I already have everything else to do it.I did pull the Mitchell OD out,and replace the driveshaft.I am going to pull the Brumfield head in the next couple of days to use on another A.

I gave some pieces to a guy that was unchopping a Coupe.Somebody had sawn 3 inches out of it,and never tried to weld it back together. The guy had bought the body, and it had most of the pieces, but missing a couple. He bought my quarter and rear window garnishes,so I hacked out the other parts he needed.I did have a guy tell me that my wheels were ruined from the heat, that the metal had been compromised, but he would take a chance on them and use them for rollers for $10.each.He was willing to take a chance on the bumpers too.(they're nearly perfect). He offered $25.for both front and rears.About the only thing that I don't need to keep is the oval speedo popout switch that MR Crabtree did over a few years ago.
