Default Lawson Cox

I tried to send a PM to "the counselor" but his mailbag is full. Does anyone know if he is OK. I miss his commentary.

This doesn't sound good at all. Anyone close enough to check it out?

If someone sends me info about where he lives, i.e. at least a state and city, I will check records re him. If he's about 91 he's have been born 1933-34.
Anybody know his spouse's or kids name(s) ? If he's not with us anymore there should be an obituary published. Death records don't go public for a number of years.

I'm not acquainted with Lawson so someone who has been, should try this phone number or send a letter.

Here ya go .... best I can find now ....and confirming some info:

I find no published Obituary or SS Death Index reference so reasonable to believe he's living. Being of an elevated status in the community one would expect publication. He could have become involved with a medical/physical aging situation and moved into an Assisted-Living or NH facility however if within the last year or so, a letter or card sent to this home address should get forwarded to him.

If one really wants to "dig-in" one can find his son's phone number and inquire.

Otherwise:

Lawson A. (Alexander) Cox II
971 Cochran
Covington GA 30014-6400
(770) 784-0507 latest listing
(770) 580-1899 probably a former business phone
Born 1931 in Tennessee; age 92
Not sure about spouse living or not but maybe "Miki"

Has used a variety of Email services:
[email protected]; @onebox.com; @alltel.com; aol.com; juno.com; southbell.com.

Has son Lawson A. (Alexander) Cox III in Athens GA with family.

Comes from a family line of military veteran's i.e. Civil War, his father WW2.

Good luck !

I looked up and sent a text to his son and got this response!

Hi Glenn! Yes, Dad is doing okay. He was in the hospital in September/October but has been out for a while and doing well. I’ll let him know y’all asked about him!

Wonderful news for the Christmas season and for the Ford Barn and Lawson. I'm sure his spirits will be uplifted to hear that you-all are out here concerned about him. That means a lot to anyone over 70. If you have an address for him it would be great to send him a letter or card.
