Default Eastwood High Temp exhaust manifold Coating

I understand most use the Eastwood High Temp Coating paint to give the sandblasted exhaust manifolds a raw, new look that lasts for quite a while.

Could the exhaust tubing (after bending, welding, etc) be sand blasted and the same Eastwood coating be used to give a new, raw, bare steel tubing look, that will last? Or is there something else that will work better, last longer on exhaust tubing? Thanks
