On the 40 Ford brake light switch design is there a difference in a 12 V switch and a 6 volt switch? Does any one have a Napa part number for a switch for the 40 Ford 6 Volt?

A switch is a switch when it comes to the brake lights. Those pressure switches were used for years, so your local Napa store should have it in stock.

Thanks....I thought so. I had just noticed them listed on evil bay 39-48 Ford. I know G.M. and Ford used them into the 60's.

Here's a helpful thread.
