The speedometer cable in my 31 is squeaking up by the speedometer. I'm going to remove it from the car, and I'm looking for your opinions. I would like to know what i need to do to pull the cable out of the housing? Am I able to remove the cable out of the housing easily just by pulling it out with a pair of pliers ? The speedometer works so the cable isn't frozen.
Do I need any special tools? The big question is will the cable go back in the housing without any problems?? ![]() ![]() Thanks
